Conference Hotels

Conference accommodations will be in MIT residence halls and Kendall Hotel, coordinated by MIT Conference Service (MITCS) on first come first serve basis.

    A block of rooms has been reserved at the Kendall Hotel at a rate of $199 per night, plus applicable taxes. The rate applies to single or double occupancy and includes breakfast buffet. The deadline for making reservations at the special conference rate is June 13, 2008, 1:00 PM EST.

    Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at 866 566-1300 or 617-577-1300. To secure the special group rate, you must mention that you are making your reservations in conjunction with the MRPM9 Conference. Hotel accommodations are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and early booking is recommended.

Note: Hotels during summer months in Cambridge can be very expensive and you are encouraged to make reservations early.

Several check boxes are on the RIGHT under Check special rates, select negotiated, a drop-down box will appear > type mrp (not case sensitive), the group rates appear on the right and you will be able to complete the booking process.

    MIT dormitory

    On-campus accommodations will be available in both air-conditioned single and full double (only one bed) rooms or non-air-conditioned single and shared double (two beds) rooms. Rates for 2008 will be between $85.00 to $132.00 per night for the air-conditioned rooms and between $66.00 and $90.00 for the non air-conditioned rooms. General information on housing is available at http://web.mit.edu/conferences/www/MRPM/MRPM_dorm_info.html.  Applications for housing will be accepted until Tuesday, July 1, 2008 or sooner if the limited number of rooms available is sold out.

Conference Meals

Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the conference site.

Guests in the Kendall Hotel may have breakfast provided at the hotel free of charge.

Conference Dinner

Conference dinner will be held in the evening of Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at Hyatt Regency,  575 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, MA 02139, (617) 492-1234.
