Diffusion Fundamentals Submission

THE DEADLINE FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION IS MONDAY JULY 27, 2008.

Preparation

Presenters of all posters have the opportunity to submit papers for inclusion in a special conference proceedings of the MRPM9, to be published by the open-access on-line journal Diffusion Fundamentals: http://www.uni-leipzig.de/diffusion/journal/ . This special edition will also include abstracts of all accepted contributions to the conference.

The maximum length of the manuscript will be 3 printed pages in a single column, A4 format, according to the Diffusion Fundamentals template.  The 3-page limit will be rigidly adhered to. Any manuscripts that exceed the 3-page limit will not be accepted for publication in the proceedings.

Diffusion Fundamentals will publish your paper exactly as received - i.e., camera-ready. This is different from normal journal publications. Diffusion Fundamentals does not copyedit or typeset your paper. Therefore it is imperative that you slavishly follow the template, and double check your paper carefully before submitting it to MRPM9, both in the original version, or after any required revision. All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed, however manuscripts determined to be acceptable without requiring scientific or formatting changes will be sent directly to Diffusion Fundamentals without further opportunity of revision by the authors.

Manuscripts must be submitted as a single pdf file, using the link at the bottom of this page. Also, to expedite the review process, please bring two hardcopies of your manuscript for submission at MRPM9.

Download the template/instruction file :

Diffusion Fundamental Proceedings package (download DF.zip) includes

    Template and instruction                        (author_guidelines.doc)

This file can also be obtained from Diffusion Fundamentals website.

Please use the MS Word template. For printing on Letter or other size paper, please create a pdf file with A4 paper size, and then use Acrobat’s “fit to printable area” function when printing the manuscript. Do not change the paper size or margins of the MS Word file. Diffusion Fundamentals requires the final submitted pdf file to have pages of A4 dimensions, with margins as set in the template.  The template sets all margins, page formatting, font and font-size requirements.
